'Maleficent' Edges Out X-Men for Top Spot in Brazil on June 02, 2014

The Disney film opened to a strong $5.4 million bow in the market, just enough to outgross X-Men's $4.9 million sophomore frame. Maleficent opened day-and-date with North America across 47 territories overseas, scoring a $170.6 million global debut.
