BOX OFFICE: 'The Bourne Legacy' Continues To Dominate

bournechinaposter.jpgThe Bourne Legacy finished in first place with $11.5 million for the week of 10/29-11/4/12. The espionage flick has now taken in $25.6 million after only two weeks of release in China. Universal reports that Bourne has an international total of $152.3 million and a worldwide cume of $265.5 million. That's still a far cry from the $442.8 million worldwide haul of 2007's The Bourne Ultimatum

Taichi II finished behind Bourne with another $9 million. The Chinese action film has grossed $10.1 million at home.

Total Recall grabbed another $4.4 million in third place. The remake has amassed a respectable $16.22 million in China. Sony reports that Total Recall has grabbed $137 million overseas. The sci-fi flick's worldwide total is $195.8 million.

France's Derrière les murs opened to $2.18 million in fourth place. 

Bait 3D ended up in 5th place with another $1.74 million. The B-grade, sea-based thriller is up to $24.7 million in China. Bait 3D was released straight to DVD/Blu-ray in North America.
