On July 18th, Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz enter a summer season that's full of comedies with Sex Tape, a new effort that reunites the stars with Jake Kasdan, their Bad Teacher director. Will Sex Tape match the success of Bad Teacher or will the comedies that come before it be an overshadowing force?

Sex Tape
(Sony)

PROS:

- Cameron Diaz is coming off the success of The Other Woman. The female-friendly comedy is already up to an impressive $166 million globally.
- Bad Teacher earned $100.3 million domestically and another $116.4 million overseas. Reuniting the team behind it is a smart move.
- Reactions to the film's first trailer have been generally positive on Facebook and Twitter.

CONS:

- This summer is full of R-rated comedies. Sex Tape's potential could be diluted by Neighbors, A Million Ways To Die In the West and 22 Jump Street.
- Jason Segel has been hit-and-miss lately. He stumbled in a major way with 2012's The Five-Year Engagement.

Check out our prediction for Sex Tape and others in the table below. Notable changes this week include The Fault In Our Stars (up), Edge of Tomorrow (up), 22 Jump Street (up) and How to Train Your Dragon 2 (down).
