Selton Mello, one of Brazil's biggest stars and the writer-director behind The Clown, the country's foreign language submission to the 2013 Oscars, is the voice of an immortal man in the upcoming adult cartoon Rio 2096: A Tale of Love And Rage. The film tracks 600 years of Brazilian history from its discovery by the Portuguese up to an environmentally disastrous future where water shortages control the country. In addition to the time spent on the animation, the film boasts years of research. Rio 2096: A Tale of Love And Rage is scheduled to be released on March 22, 2013.
