'Vai Que Da Certo' Holds Strong as 'G.I. Joe' Takes Top Spot in Brazil
on April 04, 2013
Vai Que Da Certo grossed $2 million over the weekend in Brazil, a mere 7% drop from its debut the previous week. The Brazilian comedy/action-caper performed splendidly, outgrossing the premieres of Jack the Giant Slayer and The Host. Another Brazilian film, A Busca, was also able to stay in the top ten in its third week of release, reaching a $1.6 million domestic cume. Anna Karenina and French import Dans la Maison fared well in limited release, breaking into the top ten despite small screen counts.
All grosses are estimates.
