Boca Raton, FL -- MovieTickets.com has signed on to provide advance ticketing to LOOK Cinemas, a new, state-of-the-art, 11-screen, 1,900-seat stadium theater complex in Dallas, which opened on March 29th. The theater is part of a new upscale entertainment complex and the first project from LOOK Cinemas LLC, a company founded by notable theater industry veteran Tom Stephenson and Dallas-based entrepreneur Brian Mason. Stephenson and Mason have also partnered with well-known restaurant entrepreneur Joseph Palladino for this inaugural project.

WASHINGTON D.C. -- Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson will receive the "CinemaCon® Comedy Duo of the Year Award" at this year's CinemaCon, it was announced today by the convention's Managing Director Mitch Neuhauser. CinemaCon, the largest and most important convention for the motion picture theatre industry, will be held from April 15-18, 2013 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas at which time more than 5,000 industry members will be gathering. Vaughn and Wilson will be presented with this special honor at the "CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards" ceremony to take place on Thursday evening, April 18, in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The Coca-Cola Company, the official presenting sponsor of CinemaCon, will host the final night gala awards program.

Oz: The Great and Powerful, the Disney prequel to The Wizard Of Oz, has been nothing short of a success, adding $13.6 million this weekend to bring its overseas total to $241.3 million. The global cume is $454.1 million. Will it have enough legs to reach the $500 million mark?
G.I. Joe: Retaliation added $40.2 million this weekend to bring its overseas cume to $145.2 million. The film held-over especially well in Korea ($3.7M weekend, $11.2M cume), Russia ($3.2M weekend, $14.6M cume), Mexico ($2.5M weekend, $10.8M cume) and Australia ($2.2M weekend, $8.3M cume). The global total is now $231.8 million and shows no sign of slowing down. It is difficult to think the G.I. Joe sequel would have fared so well facing off with The Amazing Spider-Man in its original release date last year.
The Croods keeps on performing abroad, posting a $34.1 million weekend across 62 markets. The animated film crossed the $200 million mark overseas, settling at $206.8 million. The film held-over strongest in Australia ($3.6M weekend, 8% drop, $11.9M cume), UK ($3.6M weekend, $26.7M cume), Germany ($3.5M weekend, 5% drop, $16.5M cume), Mexico ($2.5M weekend, $20.5M cume, highest grossing film of 2013), and Russia ($2.1M weekend, $25M cume). The film is #1 in 9 of the top 15 global markets, and holds the top spot in 18 markets overall. The global cume is $332.6 million for this certified hit.
Jurassic Park 3D grossed $3 million after opening in Australia, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Russia, Ukraine, India, and the United Arab Emirates. It performed along expectations compared to other openings of 3D re-releases, only slightly below the $3.3 million of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace and the $3.2 million of The Lion King. The budget for the 3D conversion was $10 million, a figure already doubled with the film's $21.2 million global cume.
Jack the Giant Slayer grossed $10.9 million in 61 markets for a $116.8 million overseas cume.
The Evil Dead remake took in $4.5 million from 21 markets in its opening weekend. The remake of Sam Raimi’s seminal horror-comedy is scripted by Diablo Cody (Juno) and helmed by first-time feature director Fede Alvarez. The horror film performed exceptionally well for its genre in Russia ($1.6M) and Spain ($1.5M). The global total is $30.5 million.
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters reached $163.8 million overseas after a $1.5 million weekend. The overseas figure represents over three times what the film has grossed in North America. Audiences around the world have helped the fairy-tale adventure gross $219.2 million globally.
Mama opened in Brazil, Israel, Norway, and Sweden this weekend. It grossed $2.3 million in 32 territories. The overseas total is $58.6 million with a global cume of $130.2 million.
Identity Thief continued its scaled overseas roll-out, adding $6.4 million in 27 territories for an overseas cume of $25.8 million. There are 21 territories left over the following three months for the American comedy. The global total is $157.1 million.
