Gary Oldman, Michelle Yeoh, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Victor Garber will lend their voices to Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom, which is now slated to hit theaters on May 27, 2011 instead of June 3, 2011.
Oldman will be playing into what he does best by voicing a new villain. As for Van Damme, landing this gig represents another step in what is shaping up to be a sizable comeback. The action star will also be starring in a fourth installment of the Universal Soldier series.
Kung Fu Panda could easily turn into the next lucrative series for Paramount/DreamWorks Animation now that the Shrek property has run out of steam. The first Kung Fu Panda film grossed more than $630 million worldwide, and the sequel could easily top that thanks to the fact that it's in 3D.
