Mel Gibson will no longer be represent by WME after another rush of bad publicity has brought to light the actor's racist comments.
Gibson's agent Ed Limato passed away on July 3, and industry sources believe his relationship with Limato was the only reason that the agency kept him on. WME partner Ari Emanuel has been vocally opposed to Gibson.
The actor has a starring role coming up in The Beaver for director Jodie Foster. It will take a lot of PR to prevent the project from being overshadowed by recent events.
