Amanda Seyfried has signed on to star for writer/director Andrew Niccol in I'm.mortal about a society in which people stop aging at 25.
Seyfried is picking up some serious momentum as a leading lady after landing back-to-back hits this year in the form of Dear John and Letters to Juliet. A journey into the world of sci-fi could help expand her reach. She'll next be seen in Red Riding Hood from Twilight helmer Catherine Hardwicke.
Niccol hasn't directed a film since 2005's Lord of War, a dark comedy about an illegal arms dealer.
