Robert De Niro is close to working out a deal that will allow him to join the cast of Manual of Love 3, the latest installment in an Italian franchise. Giovanni Veronesi is directing, Aurelio De Laurentiis is producing. Part of the role would be spoken in Italian.
The Oscar-winning actor is certainly no stranger to playing a part in a foreign language. He won his first Oscar for playing a young Vito Corleone in The Godfather Part II.
De Niro has a handful of films set to open this fall. He'll be seen in Machete, Stone and Little Fockers.
