The sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine will reportedly either be directed by David Slade (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) or Robert Schwentke (The Time Traveler's Wife). Star Hugh Jackman will make the final decision, but word is that Slade is the favorite.

The original Wolverine flick raked in more than $375 million worldwide, so it's no surprise that 20th Century Fox is eager to send out a second installment.

The X-Men property is a very lucrative one for Hollywood. Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass) is currently prepping X-Men: First Class with an impressive ensemble cast.
