Jodie Foster and Kate Winslet will star alongside Christoph Waltz and Matt Dillon in Roman Polanski's film version of God of Carnage. The story follows two sets of parents who meet after their children are involved in a fight. Mayhem ensues. Carnage was originally a Broadway play that ran for 452 performances before winning the Tony for Best Play.
Polanski most recently directed The Ghost Writer with Ewan McGreggor and Pierce Brosnan. He is still not allowed to enter the United States due to legal troubles stemming from unlawful sex with a minor in 1977. Carnage will therefore be shot in France.
