Carmike Cinemas to Participate at Upcoming Investor Conferences in New York

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- Carmike Cinemas, Inc. (NASDAQ: CKEC), a leading entertainment, digital cinema and 3D motion picture exhibitor, today announced that its senior management will participate at the following NYC-based investor conferences in November 2010.

• November 9: Piper Jaffray Technology, Media & Telecommunications Conference
o CEO David Passman will join a ‘Trends in Film Exhibition' Panel at 2 pm ET moderated by analyst James Marsh. David Passman and CFO Richard Hare will also participate in 1-on-1 investor meetings throughout the day.
• November 16: Merriman Capital Investor Summit Conference
o Management will give an investor presentation at 10:00 am ET that will be webcast via http://www.wsw.com/webcast/mcm13/ckec/ and PPT slides will be available at the ‘Carmike Investors' section of the www.carmike.com website. Passman and Hare will also participate in 1-on-1 investor meetings throughout the day.
• November 17: Citi Credit Conference
o Management will give an investor presentation at 10:40 am ET and Passman and Hare will also participate in 1-on-1 investor meetings throughout the day.
