Disney Hits $2 Billion In 2012 International Grosses

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures announced today that the studio has crossed the $2 billion international box office threshold for 2012, the third consecutive year in which the studio has accomplished that feat.

Notable leaders among the studio's biggest international hits in 2012 are Marvel's The Avengers ($891 million), Brave ($317 million) and John Carter ($210 million). The studio's current release, Wreck-It Ralph, has tallied $51.1 million from just 26 territories (30 percent of the international market).
