UNITED KINGDOM: 'Prisoners' Stays On Top, Reaches $5.4M; 'Rush' Hits $12.6M

PrisonersStill.jpgPrisoners kept the top spot in the United Kingdom, playing in 437 screens for a $1.7 million take. The film only slipped 20% from last weekend's debut and is currently reporting a $5.4 million cume in the market. Filth took second place in its expansion to 378 theaters, grossing $1.3 million in its second weekend. Filth has grossed a total of $2 million in its U.K. run. 


Sunshine on Leith opened in 400 screens for a $1.2 million bow. Blue Jasmine posted a terrific hold, dropping 14% in its second frame for a $1.16 million weekend. Woody Allen's latest has grossed a total of $3.5 million. Rush fell to the middle of the table in its fourth weekend. Ron Howard's F1 biopic took $1.13 million in its fourth frame, a strong hold that takes the film's U.K. cume to $12.6 million.
