Regal Entertainment Group Announces Luxury Expansion of Atlanta Theatre

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 23, 2013-- Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE: RGC), a leading motion picture exhibitor owning and operating the largest theatre circuit in the United States, today announces the addition of two VIP auditoriums and a full-service lounge at Regal Atlantic Station Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX. The expansion features King Size Recliners for moviegoers in an exclusive 21-plus environment. Construction will be completed in time for the November 7 release of "Thor: The Dark World."

Regal invites guests to relax and recline with two new auditoriums equipped with cinema seating which offers adjustable positions and padded footrests for added comfort during the show. Guests can secure their spot in advance with reserve seating when choosing VIP showtimes online or at the box office. Admission includes access to a full-service bar and lounge exclusive for moviegoers 21 and up. The lounge menu features extensive beer and wine selections as well as several appetizers and entrées such as Chipotle Aioli Shrimp and Gourmet Flat Bread Pizzas.

"Not only will guests be in for a treat with our King Size Recliners, but this regal environment extends into the lounge where you can unwind and dine before the movie. In celebration of this luxury addition, a limited number of commemorative champagne flutes will be awarded to the first 100 lounge guests each day during the opening weekend of "Thor: The Dark World." Also from Thursday, November 7 through Veterans Day on Monday, November 11, all Regal Crown Club members receive $5 off any entrée with each ticket purchased to the new VIP auditoriums. Through the industry-leading Regal Crown Club, patrons accumulate credits at the box office and concession stand to earn free popcorn, soft drinks and movies. Moviegoers can also stay connected through Regal Cinemas' Facebook page and by downloading the Regal Movies app. Regal fans use the app to program their favorite theatre, gather movie information, select showtimes and purchase tickets. The Regal app also gives patrons the ability to upload their Regal Crown Club card straight to their phone for easy access while on-the-go.
