20th Century Fox is delaying the release of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps from April 23 to September 24, a whole five months later. The delay seems to be because the studio is hoping the film can be a part of the Cannes Film Festival, which takes place in May.

Money Never Sleeps is a sequel to the 1987 classic, Wall Street, which introduced the world to the ruthless Gordon Gekko. Michael Douglas will return to play the iconic role and this time he is sharing the screen with Shia LaBeouf, rather than Charlie Sheen (who has a cameo). The first movie grossed $43.8 million at the domestic box office.

LOS ANGELES - ShoWest has named Zach Galifianakis Comedy Star of the Year, it was announced today by Robert Sunshine, managing director of ShoWest, which will be held March 15-18, 2010, in Las Vegas. Galifianakis will be presented with the ShoWest Comedy Star of the Year Award at ShoWest's Final Night Banquet and Award Ceremony on Thursday, March 18, at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas.

"Zach Galifianakis has a knack for making audiences laugh till it hurts, through the comedic characters he plays," said Sunshine. "We anticipate that his performance in Due Date will be no exception. With equal amounts of charm and humor, and a lot of talent, Zach is one of the funniest actors on the screen today and we are honored to be presenting him with the Comedy Star of the Year Award."

Galifianakis re-teams with The Hangover director Todd Phillips in the Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures film Due Date, opening on November 5. It also stars Robert Downey Jr., Michelle Monaghan, Jamie Foxx and Alan Arkin. Downey plays Peter Highman, an expectant first-time father whose wife's due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan - on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter's last nerve.

After failing his last college course by one point, Galifianakis moved to New York City, where he got his start performing his brand of humor in the back of a hamburger joint in Times Square, graduating to stand-up at night in clubs and coffee houses throughout the city. He got his first acting job on the NBC sitcom "Boston Common" and an eclectic career followed. Galifianakis' breakout moment came in last summer's blockbuster hit The Hangover, which quickly became the highest-grossing R-rated comedy of all time. He followed that performance with a starring role in the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced live-action Disney feature G-Force, which also debuted at #1 and grossed over $285 million worldwide. Currently, he can be seen opposite Michael Cera, Steve Buscemi and Ray Liotta in the independent feature Youth in Revolt, as well as in a cameo role in the Academy Award-nominated Up in the Air. Galifianakis recently wrapped production on Paramount Pictures' Dinner for Schmucks, opposite Steve Carell and Paul Rudd, as well as Focus Features' It's Kind of a Funny Story. His other credits include What Happens in Vegas, opposite Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher, and Into the Wild, from director Sean Penn. On the small screen, Galifianakis is beginning production on Season Two of the HBO comedy Bored to Death.
