Morristown, NJ -- Cinedigm Digital Cinema (NASDAQ: CIDM) and B&B Theatres Operating Company, Inc. announced today that UniqueScreen Media, Inc. (the cinema advertising subsidiary of Cinedigm) will be B&B Theatres' exclusive agent for in-theatre and web-based advertising services. Terms of the long-term agreement are not being disclosed.

Celebrating its 87th year in business, B&B Theatres operates 30 movie theatres with over 200 auditoriums throughout Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Florida. Last October B&B opened a state-of-the-art, all-digital theatre in Wildwood, Missouri, complete with two Marquee Suites auditoriums catering exclusively to the over-21 movie patron.

Unique Screen Media performs cinema and web-based advertising services for over 50 independent movie exhibition partners, representing more than 2,500 theatre auditoriums in over 280 theatres throughout 35 states.

In 2010, Cinedigm and B&B Theatres announced entering into a CBG Phase 2 digital deployment agreement through which B&B Theatres would convert its theatres to digital cinema, with Cinedigm administering and managing the systems under its Virtual Print Fee agreements with all the major studios for up to a ten-year term.

In related activities, UniqueScreen Media also announced the expansion of its cinema advertising network to include agreements with Gateway Film Center, Wheelersburg Cinema, 360 Entertainment LLC, Canaltown Cinema LLC, H2H, Inc., and Virginia Motion Pictures, and the addition of seven locations through expansion by its existing exhibitor partners since October of 2010. In aggregate, these activities represent an additional growth in excess of 100 screens under contract.

London -- Robert Redford, the non-profit Sundance Institute and AEG Europe today announced Sundance London, a four-day multi-disciplinary arts festival that will include film screenings, live music performances, discussions, panels and other public cultural programming to be held 26th - 29th April, 2012 at the world's most popular music and entertainment venue, The O2.

AEG Europe, owner and operator of The O2, Robert Redford, and his non-profit Sundance Institute will join together to present films from American filmmakers as well as current American music. Sundance Institute, which annually presents the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, U.S.A, will act as curator of the film component , while AEG Europe will use its industry-leading venue and marketing teams to stage and promote music and other related events at The O2.

WASHINGTON -- Victoria Espinel, the U.S. Intellectual Property and Enforcement Coordinator (IPEC), today released a White Paper outlining a number of key legislative proposals designed to improve intellectual property enforcement. The following is a statement by Bob Pisano, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Motion Picture Association of America, Inc. (MPAA).

"We thank Victoria Espinel for recognizing the danger posed to our workforce by theft, both in the online and physical marketplace, and by making the protection of the creative workers and their craft a top priority. These legislative recommendations address the evolving marketplace and new ways that criminals are stealing, trafficking, and profiting off the creative work of the millions of men and women who work in our industry. Among the proposals is a recommendation to classify streaming, now a common method of illicitly distributing television and motion pictures, a felony under appropriate circumstances. Closing the legal gap between two methods of equally destructive illegal behavior - unauthorized downloading and streaming - adds more clarity to intellectual property law and, frankly, makes good common sense. Both the House and Senate are examining this issue and we look closely to working with them and the Administration to combat this escalating threat.

Additionally, the White Paper recommends authorizing the Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection to cooperate with rightsholders. This is a similarly practical proposal that will help law enforcement officials work efficiently to help ensure only legitimate content is entering the U.S. marketplace."
