HADDON HEIGHTS, NJ. - January, 2015 - Internet Video Archive (IVA), the world's largest online movie trailer service, has announced that it has named Rhodes Mason as President of the company. Mason formerly held the position of Sr. Vice President of Business Development at IVA. Jed Horovitz, the company founder, will retain the title of CEO, and will be stepping back from day-to-day activities with the company.
"Rhodes has the relationships in the industry plus the experience to take over as IVA's President", said Horovitz. "I think the company is well positioned to thrive under his management."
Mason has been with IVA for nearly ten years. He started out doing sales and promotion; over time his portfolio of responsibilities grew to include content acquisitions, client retention and business development. IVA sales have grown steadily under Mason as he has opened up a variety of new verticals for IVA, including mobile, movie theaters, online publishers, and now cable companies. His experience prior to joining IVA included stints at major ad agencies as well as experience in the music industry where he held the title of President of Nuclear Blast Records America. Mason is a Philadelphia native, with a BA in Communications from Temple University.
