Oak Park, MI -- MJR Digital Cinemas announced today that it will build an all-new, state-of-the-art, digital movie theatre complex in Westland, Michigan. The MJR Westland Grand Digital Cinema 16 is set to break ground at the end of March, 2011 and is scheduled to open in late October or early November, 2011. The entertainment venue will bring more than 60 new jobs to the area.
Located at 6800 North Wayne Road, the newly constructed 65,000 square-foot motion picture complex will feature 16 screens and a total of 3,100 seats. MJR expects the Westland Grand to generate in excess of 800,000 admissions per year.
