MORRISTOWN, NJ & LOS ANGELES, CA, -- Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp.(NASDAQ: CIDM), the global leader in digital cinema, today announced a unique partnership with SENSIO® to bring the first ever globally broadcasted LIVE 3D sporting event to theatres outside the United States. To kick things off, the companies will use SENSIO's technology and Cinedigm's theatre technology design to bring select matches from this year's FIFA World Cup Soccer Tournament in LIVE 3D to hundreds of theatres around the world. Eight games starting with the quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup Soccer Tournament will be broadcast in LIVE 3D thanks to Cinedigm's extensive experience in bringing LIVE 3D sporting events to U.S. theatres through SENSIO® 3D format and CineLiveTM technology.

Cinedigm's LIVE 3D expertise in leveraging SENSIO® 3D format was recently recognized this Earth Day by the 3D visionary James Cameron when Cinedigm delivered a LIVE 3D feed of Mr. Cameron from Los Angeles to the Business for the Environment Summit at the Global Initiatives Conference in Seoul, South Korea, on Thursday, April 22, 2010. In the U.S., Cinedigm used its 3D and digital cinema expertise to launch the first ever commercially available LIVE 3D sporting event with the 2009 BCS Championship Game, followed by the 2009 NBA All-Star Saturday Night, and most recently the 2010 NCAA Men's Final Four and Championship Games to digitally equipped theatres in its CineLiveTM Network.

"Cinedigm's experience in sophisticated digital broadcasting technologies has enabled the company to design a satellite network and broadcast techniques capable of providing LIVE 3D sporting events to theatres so clear and realistic most audiences forget they are watching events on the big screen and feel like they are actually at the events," said B. Scott Cassell, V.P. Operations and Technology of Cinedigm's Digital Media Services. "We are thrilled to partner with SENSIO to design the network that will enable this experience on a global scale and make the FIFA World Cup events the first ever sporting events to be brought in LIVE 3D to theatres worldwide."

"When SENSIO confirmed it would bring the FIFA World Cup to theatres, our leadership knew that working with our trusted partner Cinedigm would help ensure success. Cinedigm's proficiency in integrating satellite operations with theatres is head-and-shoulders beyond that of any other company. The demonstrated success with Cinedigm's CineLiveTM Certified design is exactly what SENSIO needs to ensure the same outcome for these events globally," said Richard Laberge, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

New York, N.Y. and Kansas City, Mo. - IMAX Corporation (NASDAQ: IMAX; TSX: IMX) and AMC Entertainment (AMC), today announced an expansion of the companies' joint venture agreement to include installation of between 15 and 25 new IMAX(R) theatres in the United States. These theatres, which are part of an amendment to the parties' original 2007 joint venture agreement, are in addition to AMC's current roll-out of 104 IMAX joint venture theatres, 79 of which are in operation and 25 of which are expected to open by the end of 2010 in the United States and Canada.

The companies intend to open the 15 to 25 new IMAX theatres in 2011 in both new markets and some markets where AMC already operates IMAX theatres in North America. Upon completion of the full AMC IMAX theatre roll-out, AMC will operate between 125 and 135 IMAX theatres.

"We are pleased to expand our relationship with IMAX, a valued partner in offering our guests the best out-of-home entertainment experience," said Gerry Lopez, CEO and president, AMC. "Our guests clearly choose to see movies in our IMAX auditoriums because the experience is unparalleled in terms of sight and sound, and it continues to be the premium offering in our portfolio of moviegoing options. We are proud to continue being the largest exhibitor partner of IMAX, and we are committed to providing our guests with the best choices in moviegoing."

Included among the terms of the amended agreement is an increase in the length of the joint venture arrangement for all AMC IMAX theatres - to 10 years from the previous term of seven years - as well as an adjusted allocation of costs to help defray AMC's increased operating expenses.

"Today's announcement is great news for AMC, IMAX and IMAX fans across North America," said Richard L. Gelfond, CEO, IMAX Corporation. "We are pleased to continue to grow with our long-time exhibitor partner AMC, contribute to their continued operational and financial success and bring The IMAX Experience(R) to more consumers. We are also excited that through this expansion, we expect to increase the number of potential IMAX theatres in North America beyond the 400 locations we originally targeted. We look forward to continuing our growth and success with AMC."
