According to Warner Bros., Entourage posted a solid $2 million haul from Tuesday evening preview shows. That tops the $1.8 million that Get Hard posted the evening before opening earlier this year.

Warner's San Andreas took in $4.82 million on Monday to easily lead the daily box office for a fourth consecutive day. The Dwayne Johnson led disaster film was down 70 percent from Sunday's performance, which strongly suggests that San Andreas will be much more of a weekend film. San Andreas continues to significantly outpace pre-release expectations with a strong four-day start of $59.41 million. That places the film 16.5 percent ahead of the $51.01 million four-day take of 2013's G.I. Joe: Retaliation and 20 percent behind the $74.09 million four-day gross of 2013's World War Z.

Fellow Warner Bros. release Mad Max: Fury Road took second place with $1.65 million. The critically acclaimed action film starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron was down 63 percent from Sunday and down 75 percent from last Monday's inflated Memorial Day performance. Mad Max: Fury Road has grossed $118.12 million through 18 days of release. That is on the high end of expectations and places the film 8 percent ahead of the $109.79 million 18-day take of 2012's Prometheus.

Universal's Pitch Perfect 2 claimed third place with $1.43 million. The successful musical comedy sequel starring Anna Kendrick fell 66 percent from Sunday and 81 percent from last Monday. Pitch Perfect 2 has grossed a strong $148.95 million in 18 days and is set to surpass the $150 million mark today. The film is currently running 27.5 percent ahead of the $116.80 million 18-day gross of last year's Neighbors.

Disney's Tomorrowland placed in fourth with $1.30 million. The pricy Brad Bird directed sci-fi film starring George Clooney was down 71 percent from Sunday and down a very sharp 86.5 percent from last Monday. Due in part to significant front-loading so far, Tomorrowland has grossed a softer than expected $64.99 million in eleven days. That places the film 14 percent behind the $75.56 million eleven-day take of 2011's Super 8.

Avengers: Age of Ultron rounded Monday's top five with $1.08 million. The blockbuster superhero sequel from Disney and Marvel declined 70 percent from Sunday and 83 percent from last Monday. The 32-day total for Avengers: Age of Ultron stands at $428.63 million. The film is currently in tenth place on the all-time unadjusted domestic chart and will soon surpass the $435.11 million lifetime gross of 1982's E.T. to move into ninth place.

Poltergeist landed in sixth place with $0.853 million. The PG-13 horror remake from Fox and MGM was down 59 percent from Sunday and down 77 percent from last Monday. Poltergeist has grossed $39.38 million in eleven days and is set to surpass the $40 million mark today. The film is performing on the low end of expectations and is running 7 percent behind the $42.27 million eleven-day gross of 2013's Evil Dead.

Sony's Aloha followed closely behind in seventh with $0.851 million. The Cameron Crowe directed film starring Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams was down 66 percent from Sunday. Aloha continues to perform below its already scaled back expectations with a soft four-day start of $10.52 million. That places Aloha 25 percent behind the $14.06 million four-day take of 2009's All About Steve.

Disney's Cinderella has finally lost her throne after five weeks atop the Japanese box office. Director Sion Sono's Shinjuku Swan (新宿スワン), adapted from a popular manga series about a prostitute talent agent in Tokyo's red light district, grossed ¥252.3 million ($2.1 million) with 175,337 admissions on 320 screens over this weekend. The film is Sony's first ever Japanese film to debut at #1 and the festival favorite Sono's biggest commercial hit.

Cinderella dropped to second place in her sixth weekend, but has danced to a combined ¥4.96 billion ($40.8 million) with 3.91 million admissions. She is the #3 highest-grossing film of 2015 behind Yo-Kai Watch: It's the Secret of Birth, Meow! (¥7.72 billion, $65.6 million) and fellow Disney flick Big Hero 6 (¥9.15 billion, $77.6 million). Disney/Pixar's Inside Out opens July 18 in Japan.

Disney is reporting that yesterday (June 1st), Avengers: Age of Ultron surpassed Marvel's The Avengers international total of $895 million and today will become only the 5th title ever to cross $900 million overseas. Combined with NA's $428.6 million, Ultron has grossed $1.3279 billion globally. Currently the #6 film of all-time worldwide, the Disney/Marvel blockbuster is still in release in many markets and will open in Japan on July 4.

Immersive Experience Packs Theatres and Adds to Intensity

LOS ANGELES and SEOUL - JUNE 2, 2015 - San Andreas opened in 4DX theatres around the globe this weekend, attracting moviegoers seeking the most immersive screenings of the film. With 90 percent occupancy over the first few days of its release at the Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, CA, more than 75 percent in the UK and more than 60 percent in Mexico, San Andreas was the latest blockbuster to take advantage of interest in this unique cinematic experience.

Starring Dwayne Johnson and Carla Gugino, the epic disaster film unleashes a nine-plus magnitude earthquake triggered by the San Andreas Fault, causing destruction throughout California. Those who watched the film in 4DX were able to experience the rattling motions and massive vibrations of the earthquake first-hand, and be brought into the center of the story. When a woman miraculously survives after dodging through a falling wall, fog and burning rubber scents add another layer to the movie. At the moment that the earthquake sets off a huge tsunami, water shots and delicately designed vibrations mimic the seismic waves.

San Andreas isn't the first disaster film to see success in 4DX. Last year, Into the Storm delivered exceptionally high performance in many countries. The tornado disaster film generated more than 78 percent occupancy rate in Korea, where 4DX' parent company is based and more than half of the film's audience is generated; more than 67 percent in Guatemala and Croatia and over 50 percent occupancy in 4DX theatres based in Colombia, Philippines and Cambodia.

With average occupancy rate in U.S. theatres reportedly ranging from 10 to 15 percent, this performance is no small feat. Moviegoers are eager to share the reasons they have been attracted to 4DX, calling their experience watching San Andreas "MINDBLOWING," "SUPERB" and "ABSOLUTELY IMMERSIVE," saying that "You haven't seen this movie until you've seen it in 4DX" and "I enjoyed every single movement and scene. I'll definitely watch this movie in 4DX again!"
