The animated sequel has now grossed a total of $21.1 million in Russia. Russia represents the bulk of the film’s early overseas gross, responsible for over two thirds of the film’s $30 million take from 3 markets.
Noah took a thundering lead at the Russian box office after enjoying a $2.75 million opening day, making it the #4 biggest non-holiday debut of all-time in the market.
Noah's opening day figures are already 250% above Gravity ($1.1M Opening Day) and 50% ahead of Inception ($1.8M Opening Day).
The Biblical epic has grossed $22 million ahead of its release in North America, including strong runs in South Korea ($10.2M) and Mexico ($8M).

Mr. Peabody and Sherman took $700k from 1,020 screens in Russia over the weekend, finishing its third frame in the market with a $9.7 million cume. The animated film has grossed $103.5 million overseas with Russia as its third highest-grossing market.
