NCM Media Networks Names Amy Jane Finnerty Vice President, Corporate Communications

Centennial, Colo. & New York, NY - Sept. 12, 2013 - NCM Media Networks, the top national cinema network reaching moviegoers on-screen, on-site, online and on the go, has promoted company veteran Amy Jane Finnerty to Vice President of Corporate Communications.

In her new role as the company's senior communications officer, Finnerty will be responsible for all corporate communications and public relations for National CineMedia (NCM) and NCM Media Networks, as well as the expansion of NCM's digital and social media communications programs. She will continue to be based in the New York office.

Finnerty joined the company in 2004 as manager of PR & Communications, handling public relations for its alternative entertainment division that grew to become NCM Fathom Events and launching groundbreaking in-theater programs such as the Emmy® and Peabody award-winning The Met: Live in HD series. She was promoted to director of PR & Communications in 2005, and since then her responsibilities grew to include overseeing public relations for NCM Media Networks' cinema advertising business as well as numerous corporate communications initiatives.

Prior to joining National CineMedia in 2004, Finnerty served at as an account supervisor at Trylon Strategic Media Relations in New York, creating PR campaigns for media, entertainment and technology clients including Scripps Networks' cable channels Home & Garden Television (HGTV) and DIY Network; King Features Syndicate comic strips, characters and licensing programs including Betty Boop, Popeye and Beetle Bailey; The Times Square New Year's Eve Ball-Drop event and worldwide satellite feed 1998-2003 including the Times Square 2000 Millennium event, and the Phillip Glass opera "Monsters Of Grace."

Previously, she worked as a publicist with Katz Media Group, Inc., where she was responsible for both internal and external communications for Katz's radio, broadcast television, cable, and interactive media spot sales divisions.

A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Theater Arts, she also holds a Certificate of Study in European Mass Media from the University of Manchester/European Institute for the Media (UK).
