'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' Leads the Weekend with $6.9M Debut; 'Noah' Settles for $4.8M Second Place Finish; 'Rio 2' Nears $20M Mark

Captain America: The Winter Soldier took the top spot at the Brazilian box office with a $6.9 million debut from 486 screens, registering the only five figure per-screen average of the weekend.
Noah settled for a $4.8 million weekend in its first hold. The Biblical epic is a huge hit in Brazil, where it has already grossed $17.3 million.
Rio 2 finished the weekend one step short of reaching the $20 million mark. The animated sequel grossed $2.5 million to take third place in the market during its third weekend of release.
