'Captain America 2' Continues to Lead in Brazil, Passes $20M Mark Ahead of 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Release

Captain America: The Winter Soldier surpassed the $20 million mark in Brazil after claiming the top spot for another weekend with a $3 million take. The film's total in Brazil stands at $21.6 million ahead of the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Noah continues its strong run in Brazil with another $1.8 million weekend. The Biblical epic is Paramount's highest grosser of all time in the market. Noah has grossed a total of $27.1 million in Brazil.
Rio 2 added $1.1 million as it commemorated a full month of release in Brazil. The animated sequel has grossed a total o f$25.3 million in the market.
Divergent stumbled down to fourth place in its first hold-over frame, grossing $1 million over the weekend to take its total in Brazil to $4.1 million.
