Fandango Pacts with Harkins Theatres, Digiplex Destinations and Premiere Cinemas, Expanding Its Theater Reach to More Than 24,000 U.S. Screens

The Nation's Leading Moviegoer Destination Increases Its Online and Mobile Ticketing Footprint in Key Markets Nationwide by Adding 1,000 New Screens
LOS ANGELES - May 15, 2014 - Fandango, the nation's leading moviegoer destination, announced today it has added Harkins Theatres, the nation's largest independently-owned theater chain and top circuit in key Southwestern states, plus the leading exhibitors, Digiplex Destinations and Premiere Cinemas, to its ever-expanding cinema network.
These latest exhibitor agreements bring Fandango's ticketing conveniences to an additional 1,000 screens in a dozen states including Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Fandango now powers online and mobile ticketing for more than 24,000 U.S. screens, representing the vast majority of the nation's theaters with advance ticketing capabilities.

The news follows on the heels of the company's recent acquisition of MovieClips, the largest movie trailer and content network on YouTube, with more than 7 million subscribers, averaging 200 million video views per month. Fandango also launched a new Twitter Card experience, offering movie fans the opportunity to learn about current and upcoming films and connect to Fandango ticketing right from a Tweet.
Fandango has recently redesigned its website and mobile apps, featuring an improved, streamlined ticketing experience and a sleek, modern interface for showcasing high-res movie art, celebrity photos, HD video and trailers. Also featured on every page of the site are personalized ticketing widgets that serve up new movie releases at the user's favorite or local theaters. Fandango's updated and redesigned mobile apps will be honored with the People's Voice Award for Mobile Guides/Ratings/Reviews at the 2014 Webby Awards on Monday, May 19 in New York City.
