TORONTO, ON - May 27, 2014 - TimePlay Inc., a leader in the multi-player interactive industry, has appointed Joseph Peixoto as Strategic Advisor to the CEO as part of its global growth strategy.

Peixoto joins Toronto-based TimePlay from Los Angeles-based RealD, a pioneer in digital 3D and the world's most widely used 3D movie-technology company, where he was President, Worldwide Cinema.

Peixoto's new role is to help TimePlay grow its cinema network worldwide. He will help attract studios, channels and other entertainment platforms and develop content strategies for TimePlay's multi-player interactive technology.

Peixoto has 30 years of experience in the cinema industry. Prior to RealD, he was President and CEO at United Cinemas International from 1998 to 2004 and President of Famous Players from 1992 to 1998.

Smartphone users are already interacting with TimePlay's technology at theatres across Canada, recently expanding from 231 Cineplex Odeon theatres in Toronto and Vancouver to more than 700 Cineplex screens across the country. Moviegoers download the free TimePlay app on their smartphones and tablets, which allows them to interact in real-time with content on the big screen while waiting for a movie to start.

TimePlay has also attracted big-brand advertisers that want to be part of the company's growing social mobile technology platform including; McDonald's Corp., Ford Motor Co., Toyota Motor Corp., Canon Inc. and Molson Coors Brewing Co.
