Doctor Strange is Visually Mesmerizing in RealD 3D

PRESS RELEASE

(Beverly Hills, CA.  November 2, 2016) — Critics are raving about the 3D in Disney and Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange, opening nationwide this weekend.

Doctor Strange is, without a doubt, the best-looking installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially in 3D, which gives its gravity-flipping action sequences an added sense of delirious dizziness whenever they turn on an axis and re-establish which way is down,” declared BuzzFeed’s Alison Willmore.

And that is just scratching the surface of the strong buzz building for this event motion picture as outlets including BustleCrave, and many others have heralded the film’s display in 3D.

Using the latest state-of-the-art-visual-technology and storytelling techniques to immerse audiences in the world of Doctor Strange, the film is sure to dazzle audiences. Currently rated 90% on rottentomatoes.com, the film is being released worldwide on RealD’s expansive 3D platform, which includes more than 28,350 3D-enabled screens in 72 countries.

“Doctor Strange was designed to be an extraordinary and visually stunning 3D experience and the early reviews and overseas results have been simply spectacular,” said Anthony Marcoly, President of Worldwide Cinema for RealD.  “Using 3D, the filmmakers have deployed this extraordinary technology as a true storytelling layer that  helps transport  audiences in a way that will not be available for those experiencing the film in 2D. This is the way 3D can and should be used to advance the best motion picture events.”

As the world’s leading 3D cinema system, no company has been more instrumental in perfecting, promoting or providing premium quality 3D experiences to audiences worldwide than RealD. This year, the company is celebrating its 10 year anniversary. Over the past decade, moviegoers have chosen RealD 3D when purchasing over 1.5 billion tickets to more than 200 major studio motion pictures in RealD 3D.
